Clear Waters
CHALLENGE Clear Waters was developed in response to the ongoing issue of limited access to clean drinking water in Indigenous communities across Canada. The challenge was not only the lack of information, but how fragmented and difficult existing resources are to find and navigate when they are most needed. APPROACH I approached the project by looking at accessibility as the core problem rather than information itself. The idea became building a single, centralized platform that could consolidate legal rights, outreach services, temporary accommodation options, water testing resources, and government updates into one place. Alongside the resource side, I also explored how the platform could raise awareness externally, including working with community voices and finding ways to communicate the issue without reducing it to statistics or repetitive narratives. OUTCOME The result is a web platform that functions as both a support tool and an awareness system, designed to make critical information easier to access, understand, and act on while keeping community experience and resilience at the centre of the narrative.
